Anthesis, based in Greece, is a company that specializes, pioneers and leads in biological solutions and zero-residue crop programs. It was founded in 2004 by George Komianos M.Sc., Agronomist, AAU and Wageningen.

After many years of successful experience in Dutch companies, he decided to spread the integrated management of zero-residue crops in the Greek territory.

In 2021, Anthesis Management decided to take the big step and officially joined the Andermatt Group, reinforcing the group’s commitment to providing innovative and sustainable solutions in agriculture, beekeeping, home & garden. This collaboration aims at the further dynamic development of Anthesis and the Andermatt Group in Greece by promoting the production of high-quality food without burdening the environment and biodiversity.

In 2025, Anthesis, leveraging the reputation and global recognition of the Swiss Andermatt Group, changes its name and is renamed Andermatt – Anthesis. This renaming is a milestone in the history of Anthesis as it combines the stability and productivity of the Swiss group with the dynamism and flexibility of its subsidiary in Greece in order to fulfill the vision: Safe Food and a Sustainable Environment For All!
